Here are my plans:
We are moving a long to Letter T and Fall/Apples/Pumpkins. I don't like zipping through the Fall unit, so we may do some extensions throughout the next few weeks that aren't included in my plans. I don't really have much to add on here.
We started using Secret Stories Better Alphabet Song at the beginning of the year. It's such a staple in our routine that I forget to add it to my plans. I made a keynote to flip through while singing it and the kiddos love it. I get in trouble if I don't sing it =) www.thesecretstories.com
For Ten Apples Up On Top, we do something similar like this from mrsnelsonsclass.com, but I do patterns instead of numbering. We do green, red and yellow apples.
In Daily 5 we are now doing THREE Dailies!! I'm so excited. These kiddos are moving along quickly and this is their favorite time of day. This week they will learn to choose their spot and the order of their dailies. I plan on doing this during morning meeting, then every morning they can come in and choose.
I have received a few emails from some wanting to see my Daily Schedule, so here it is!
So, do I get everything done everyday...NO! My plans that I write up, are very basic and I keep them going for y'all, but sometimes, I am still working on something with a letter or number while my plans for next week say I'm moving on. My writer's workshop is much further behind than I have mentioned on my plan, but I want things to work out for my kiddos so that when we start Work On Writing, they will be confident in their ventures.
If you have questions, please feel free to email me. I try my best to answer right away, but if this gives you an example of my week: Last week I had one meeting after school, that led right into a studio recording then home to finally see my baby only to put him to bed. I also go to church every Wednesday and had an IEP meeting and set up our Intervention schedule for 140 students. So I'll get to you soon..I promise!!! =)
Have a great week!
